A Simple Bouquet

A simple summer bouquet picked fresh. Crocosmia 'Lucifer', Penstemon 'Black Bird', Echinacea 'Magnus', Red Dahlia, artichoke leaves, Savlia nemerosa 'Caradonna', hosta and fern.

Bloodgood maple is not an unusual plant, yet it is spectacular. The color of the leaves with sunlight coming through is a stunning crimson red. It is a tree that fits in most gardens large or small or even in a container on a deck. This maple grows 15 feet by 15 feet in about 10 years. Plant in full sun or partial shade. The trunk and branches are a nice gray and the whole tree has a wonderful look year round. In the nursery garden the ‘Bloodgood’ maple is under planted with Piersis, wood fern and lithodora ‘Grace Ward’.

We would like to inform you that we will be closed on Saturdays through the summer. Our hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 until 4:30. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We have roses this year! The outstanding one right now is a stunning yellow beauty named Carefree Sunshine. Bright clear yellow flowers that are delicately rose scented cover this 4' by 4' shrub rose from June until October: nonstop. The abundant flowers make excellent cut flowers. Carefree sunshine is a shrub rose that is disease resistant and it’s dark green foliage make it an excellent choice for a hedge, an addition to a perennial garden or even growing in a pot. Disease resistance adds to its many good qualities. Plant in full sun (at least 5 hours a day) and with regular water and some fertility this rose will fill your garden with blooms and fragrance for a long time.
