Gaultheria shallon'Salal' A cross between Gold Scaled Male and Northern Wood ferns, the Dryopteris remota grows to be about 24-36 inches tall.

An excellent fern for a woodland setting, this fern has glossy, green fronds and is deer resistant. Moist soil and part or full shade are ideal for this fern. It is very hardy and adaptable to most all conditions.
