This truly is a great plant. The fall foliage is just one of its many notable characteristics. It is a strong grower, highly adaptable to many climates and soil conditions. The berries are produced in abundance and are some of the earliest blueberries to ripen. The flavor is top-notch; many of us here at Pleasant Hill Nursery think it to be the best-tasting berry.

Expect your ‘Reka’ Blueberry to grow to about 6 feet high and wide. Plant in full sun to light shade. Blueberries like well-drained, acidic soil, so amending your soil with mulch will improve your blueberry’s performance. With proper care, you can harvest and enjoy ‘Reka’ berries for years and years.
