Prunus laurocerasus 'Schipkaensis' There are a few variations of this laurel sold under the Prunus laurocerasus 'Schipkaensis' name. The specific plant we grow reaches roughly 10-12 feet tall by 7ft wide. It has narrow 2 inch wide leaves that are 4.5 inches long. In spring, fragrant white flowers appear in narrow clusters. They also have purple to black fruit in summer. They are great for hedging, especially where a narrow plant is needed. Schipka Laurel is hardy to USDA Zone 6.
