2-5-08: Mahonia repens |
|
Mahonia repens Mahonia repens also known as Creeping Mahonia is native from British Columbia to Northern California. It provides stunning winter color with leaves that turn from a blue-green to a bronzy-pink. It serves as excellent ground cover, and produces flower clusters in spring followed by blue berries. The average plant is approximately 1 foot high and 3 feet wide. It does best in full sun or partial shade, and needs little or no water after established. It’s tight growing habit makes it a good substitution for Mahonia aquifolium ‘Compacta’. Pleasant Hill Nursery is pleased to offer: Mahonia repens in #3's: Call for Prices |
