Festuca glauca 'Elijah Blue' Elijah Blue Fescue is a sparkle of silvery blue in the garden.

If you are just starting out with grasses this may be your entry into the ornamental grass world. This diminutive grass will fit into any garden or container, growing ten inches wide by four to ten inches tall. Full sun and well-drained soil is its preferred spot in the garden. Plant it with lavender, rosemary, sage and thymes as in a Mediterranean garden or with mugo pines, azaleas, and small rhododendrons, such as 'Dora Amateis'. Every few years you can divide the plant into small pieces and replant, this will allow it to it retain its glow.
