Prunus 'Hally Jolivette' A cherry promenade is lining the nursery entrance, composed of the delicate beauty Hally Jolivette, small (15 feet by 15 feet) deciduous tree with a dense round crown. ‘The leaves are dark green, the autumn color is yellow and the spring flowers are a delicious pink fading to white. This tree blooms for a 2 to 3 week period, longer than most flowering cherries. Our Hally Jolivettes have been grafted to a tibetica root stock, prized for its shiny red peeling bark that on its own is a landscape attraction. Hally Jolivette is suitable for a large planter as well as perfect for the small urban garden. For optimum growth plant in full sun, water well for the first several years and then expect this cherry to be drought tolerant. Underplant with spring bulbs; white thalia daffodils, deep blue muscari and soft blue anemone blanda.
