Genista pilosa are resilient and hardy. this beautiful ground hugging shrub makes an excellent groundcover or rock garden plant, this shrub creates a colorful accent in summer when covered by rich golden yellow pea-like blooms.

Its trailing stems create undulating mounds. Genista pilosa is evergreen and slow-growing from 6 inches to 15 inches high and 3 feet wide. Tolerant of a wide variety of soils this plant can acclimate very well.
