6-6-08: Hebe 'Amy' |
|
Hebe 'Amy' Neat and tidy little balls of color and texture, that's how we want to describe Hebe 'Amy.' The leaves are bright green tinged with maroon giving an overall burgundy/green look to this plant. 'Amy' blooms with dense spikes of violet flowers, late May-July. This is a great plant for the Pacific Northwest, growing and colorful year round. It's often said the smaller the leaves, the more cold hardy the hebes are. Hebe 'Amy's' leaves are larger but it is quite hardy here. Just be sure it can be planted near a house or building in a wind sheltered area. Hebes are originally from Chile and New Zealand. This one grows 3' x 3' and blends nicely with rosemary and geranium. Pleasant Hill Nursery is pleased to offer: Hebe 'Amy' in #1's: Call for Prices & to Check Availability |
